Membranes in any membrane separation system are the heart of the plant and the process. The performance of an RO \/ UF membrane can be impaired by impurities that foul the membrane suface during operation. These foulants\/impurities can foul the membrane and cause loss in production of clean water and hence reduce overall plant efficiency.<\/p>\n

A corrective and preventive membrane program of an RO plant must use high performance membrane cleaners. Usually membrane cleaning is implemented when operating parameters, flux, conductivity or \u2206P ( pressure differential) change siginificantly.
